QWhat fly stung Nasser al-Khelaïfi, the large boss of PSG? The Qatari chief, prince of wood language, diplomatic contortions and the artwork of placing out fires, has simply misplaced his nerve. To everybody’s shock. He accuses, half-heartedly, in an interview with Parisian, the Paris City Hall and its boss of anti-Arab racism. Not much less.
We rub our eyes when rereading the phrases of the person whom some nickname “Colonel Nasser”. The man, surrounded by communications specialists, clearly didn’t launch this firestorm by likelihood. This PR stunt, huge and lavish because it does not resemble him, smacks of a diversionary operation. Why then would the left-wing Paris City Hall, led by Anne Hidalgo, be contaminated by the stale concepts of Jean-Marie Le Pen? Reply…
