Farmers and their tractors converged on Berlin from each nook of Germany on Monday morning to hitch an enormous protest demanding a rethink of plans to tax them extra. Some 3,000 tractors, 2,000 vehicles and an estimated 10,000 folks crammed the avenue resulting in Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate for a mass rally capping per week of protests in opposition to the federal government.
