Suspect tackled to floor by police after escaping from ambulance | News | EUROtoday

Footage exhibits the second a suspect was tackled to the bottom by a police officer in Rochdale after escaping from the again of an ambulance.

In footage shared by Greater Manchester Police, a suspected bike thief is seen climbing out the again of the car, which was treating his accidents following a pursuit with site visitors cops.

He tries to make a break for it, sprinting away from the ambulance earlier than being pulled to the bottom by an officer.

The incident occurred on Whitworth Road, simply earlier than 3pm on Thursday 9 May.

The suspect is now in custody on suspicion of theft of a motorcar, possession of medicine and an offensive weapon.
