As France enters the house stretch of the European marketing campaign – for which the vote will happen on Sunday June 9 –, Point presents you a sequence in 5 episodes devoted to the “Mystifiers of Europe”. Many candidates and political leaders willingly ship indicators to their nationwide clientele unrelated to European points. They pull the European cowl when the environment is favorable, denounce directives – on ecology or immigration – when Brussels has nothing to do with it, resort to “fake news” or vote otherwise in Strasbourg and in Paris. Above all, they’re using on the ignorance of the French – residents, financial elites or elected officers – with regards to European establishments.
