Fox News host Jesse Watters drew ridicule on social media Wednesday after he added a brand new rule to his ever-growing checklist of what he claims defines a “real man.”

According to Watters, “Men don’t wave simultaneously with both hands.”

“We wave with one hand, not both hands at the same time,” he declared on “The Five.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld rapidly pushed again: “Men don’t wave at all, Jesse.”

Watters doubled down: “We salute.”

The feedback got here because the panel mocked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) for pushing again at criticism on Fox News of him ingesting a milkshake with a straw.

Watters earlier had laid out his different arbitrary guidelines for “real men.”

“I have rules for men. They are just funny, they are not that serious,” he claimed of them. “You don’t eat soup in public. You don’t cross your legs, and you don’t drink from a straw. And one of the reasons you don’t drink from a straw is because the way your lips purse. It is very effeminate. And his [Walz’s] excuse was, ‘I was drinking a milkshake.’ Again, you shouldn’t be drinking a milkshake. Milkshakes are for kids.”

Watters additionally claimed Democrats “feminized themselves in order to win elections, and then they lost the election and then they lost their manhood” and that “real men don’t talk about masculinity, real men never say ‘misogyny.’ It’s just not something we say.”

Social media customers wasted no time mocking Watters’ feedback, with many mentioning the absurdity of his self-imposed restrictions and the irony of spending a lot time discussing masculinity whereas claiming “real men” don’t discuss it.
