Even although it’s a best suited nickname for the King of Pop, there’s one other that, judging by the excessive esteem that his picture continues to impress immediately, appears much more acceptable: incancellable. If he was invincible artistically, it’s much more astonishing that he has been, morally and publicly, proof against the tradition of cancellation; a creature that, having gone by way of storms that will have ruined others with out treatment, stays upright within the collective reminiscence as if the gale had barely touched its determine.
