Sir Keir Starmer thanked Morgan McSweeney for “his dedication, loyalty and leadership” as he reacted to his right-hand man’s resignation. Mr McSweeney has stop because the Prime Minister’s chief of employees after coming beneath fireplace over the Lord Mandelson scandal.
