Residents have been urged to maintain their doorways and home windows closed after a big fireplace engulfed a industrial unit in Shaw. Firefighters had been referred to as to Mossgate Road simply earlier than 5pm on Tuesday, February 17.

Speaking at round 8.30pm, they added: “We can still see the fire, or the orange glow. It’s still ablaze. Just hope no one is hurt.”
